Using video, sculpture and photography the work I make ties together my interests into the slipperiness of identity. Particularly how gender is marked by health, communication, medicine and care. Piggybacking off one another the work often troubleshoot through a problem to forge a sort of pharmakon (a composite of three meanings: poison, remedy and scapegoat). Previously the work I was making was preoccupied by the inherent violence of interior architectures, gendered destructive testing, airplane safety demonstrations and speculative knowledge.
